Mentoring Scheme

MCR Pathways is are an award winning school-based mentoring charity which supports vulnerable young people all across Surrey. It matches young people with a fully trained volunteer mentor. Operating in three schools in and around the Guildford area the charity currently has a real need for new volunteer mentors.

Volunteer mentors give just one hour a week to go into a local school to mentor the young person that they have been carefully matched to. The mentoring programme has a transformational impact on the young people that are supported, who are typically care experienced or facing other challenges or instability. Mentors also benefit hugely from the programme as the mentoring is hugely rewarding and fulfilling and can help to develop new skills.
