This is a beautifully refurbished venue that reopened in 2023 as a vibrant hub for local events, gatherings and celebrations. The history of the hall goes back to WW2 and the gift of the premises (the old NAFI) from the Canadian Government who had allied troops billeted locally. This history is maintained today as the Goodhart Rendel Charity (owners of the hall) are involved in the support of veterans and military projects. The Hall is rooted in the community spirit and is the perfect place to bring people together.

Open Thursdays to Sundays, the Hall is wholly run by local volunteers, for local people. The Hall, as well as having a bar, pool and snooker as well as darts, now has a flourishing schedule of events with Quiz and music nights (always sold out!), and other creative activities.
