The Horsleys are Supporting The Great Big Green Week, 6-14 June 2026

The Horsleys’ Climate Action Network is coordinating a programme of activities across West and East Horsley to support The Great Big Green Week, the UK’s largest annual event focused on climate and nature (6-14 June).

Across the Horsleys, groups, organisations, volunteers and residents will be shining a light on the brilliant things they are already doing, and encouraging everyone to make small changes, to improve our villages and help protect nature and the environment.

The Horsleys’ CAN invites everyone to get involved, to share ideas and show how small actions can create real change. Full details on the week’s events and activities will follow shortly.

Small Changes That Can Make a Big Difference

* Wash your recycling

About The Horsleys’ CAN

The Horsleys’ Climate Action Network group is a well established voluntary community group that aims to raise awareness of climate change and what we can all do to safeguard our planet for the future. A big challenge, but every little helps.

The group draws on the knowledge and expertise of other local groups with volunteers who are also members of Grace and Flavour Community Garden, West Horsley Place, the WI, the churches and East and West Parish Councils. Since its formation The Horsleys’ CAN has run a variety of events focused on climate change and sustainability and was instrumental setting up the Repair Café.
